Privacy

The short version

This site runs no analytics, sets no cookies, and loads nothing from a third party. There is no mailing list to join. The assessment scores your answers in your browser and forgets them when you close the tab.

One thing on this site collects anything at all, and only if you ask it to. At the end of the assessment you can type an email address to have your result sent to you. That is the single exception, it is described in full below, and nothing else on the site has an input box.

The rest of this page is the detail behind that, because a claim like the one above is worth checking.

Information you choose to share

If you email or call one of us, we receive what you send. That may include your name, address, phone number, company, and whatever is in your message. We use it to reply, to arrange a session, and to keep a record of the conversation.

When an inquiry concerns the program as a whole, whoever receives it will usually bring the other two into the conversation. If you would rather it stayed with the person you wrote to, say so and it will.

We do not sell, rent, or trade what you send us, and we do not add you to a mailing list because you wrote to us.

Please do not send sensitive personal information that your inquiry does not need.

The assessment

The assessment at getenterpriseedge.com/assessment/ scores your answers in your browser. Taking it sends nothing anywhere. It saves nothing in cookies or browser storage, and reloading or closing the page wipes it. If you take it and walk away, we never know you were there.

At the end you are offered two ways to keep the result. The first is a button that draws the chart and downloads it as an image. That happens entirely on your machine and involves us not at all.

The second is a field where you can type your email address to have the result sent to you. Nothing is sent until you type an address and press the button. When you do, this is exactly what happens and all of what happens:

• Your address, your nine scores, the role you picked, and the chart as an image go to our server.
• That server sends you one email, from [email protected], with your result and the chart attached. Nobody reads that address as an inbox. It is set to reply to Bruce, and anything sent to it anyway is forwarded to him.
• Bruce is copied on that email, so he sees what you received. Dean and Sandy get a short note with the same scores and role.
• The server writes none of it down. There is no database, no log of addresses, and no file. Your address exists for the second or two the request takes and is then gone.

You are not added to a mailing list, because there is no mailing list. Nobody will be enrolled in a sequence. The email carries no tracking pixel and no click tracking, so we do not know whether you opened it. If one of us follows up, it will be a person writing to you, and telling us to stop ends it.

The mail itself is delivered by Resend, which is the service that puts the message in your inbox. Your address passes through them for that purpose. They are the only third party involved in any of this.

If you skip the email field, none of the above happens and we never learn your result.

Loading the website

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes the connection in order to serve and protect the site, which involves your IP address, your browser and device information, which pages you requested, and when. That is ordinary web server processing and it happens before any of our code runs.

Fonts, images, styles and scripts are all served from this website. Loading a page discloses nothing about you to any third party beyond the hosting just described.

Cloudflare also scrambles the email addresses printed on this site so that address-harvesting robots cannot read them, and serves a small script from this domain to unscramble them for you. That script exists to hide the addresses, not to learn anything about you.

Cookies and tracking

This site sets no cookies and uses no browser storage. There is no Google Analytics, no Cloudflare Web Analytics, no session recording, no heatmap, no chat widget, no advertising pixel, and no tag manager. We do not build a profile of you, and we have no way to recognise you if you come back.

Because nothing here tracks you, there is no consent banner to click and no Do Not Track signal for us to respond to differently. Cloudflare may set a short-lived security cookie if its bot protection is triggered by a particular request. That is a security measure, not a measurement one.

The one form on the site, the email field at the end of the assessment, is not an exception to any of this. It sets nothing, remembers nothing, and does not follow you to the next page. It sends one email when you ask it to.

How long we keep things

The website itself keeps nothing, so there is nothing there to age out. The question is really about the two places a copy can sit.

If you emailed yourself an assessment result, the copies are the ones in our three inboxes. We keep those the way anyone keeps business email, which is to say indefinitely unless you ask us to delete them. Ask and we will, from all three.

If you wrote to one of us directly, we keep the correspondence for as long as it is useful to the conversation and to any work that follows from it. The same request works: ask and it goes.

Resend holds a delivery record for the message it sent you, which is how any mail service is able to tell you whether a message went out. On the plan we use that record ages out after thirty days. It is theirs, and their policy describes it.

Where your information goes

The three of us are in the United States, and so is Resend. If you write to us or ask for your result from Singapore, from Europe, or from anywhere else, your information comes to the United States. There is no way to run this program and not have that be true, so we would rather say it plainly than bury it.

Registration is a separate matter. That happens on Luma under their policy, not ours.

Keeping it safe

Everything on this site is served over an encrypted connection, and the assessment result travels to our server the same way. The mail itself goes out over the ordinary encrypted channels mail services use.

Beyond that, we would rather be accurate than impressive. We are three people with business email accounts, not a company with a security department. The best protection we can offer is holding almost nothing in the first place, which is the reason the assessment was built to score in your browser and the reason the endpoint writes nothing down. If you are about to send us something that a breach of an ordinary email account would make you regret, please do not.

Links to other websites

This site links out to each of our own practices and to Luma, where registration for a session happens. Once you follow a link you are on someone else’s website under their privacy policy, not this one. Registering for a session is handled entirely by Luma, and anything you enter there is theirs to explain.

Your choices

Because we hold nothing unless you send it to us, most requests are simple. Write to any of us and ask what we have, ask for a copy, ask for a correction, or ask us to delete it. We will do it. In the case of an assessment result you had emailed to yourself, what we have is the copy sitting in our three inboxes, and asking gets it deleted from all of them.

Depending on where you live you may have formal rights over your personal information, including access, correction, deletion, and objection. Ask and we will honour them. We will not treat you differently for asking.

Children

This site is for people running enterprise revenue organizations. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect anything from them.

Changes

If we add anything that changes the answers above, a form, a mailing list, or any kind of measurement, this page gets updated at the same time and the effective date changes with it.

That has already happened once, and it is recorded here rather than quietly absorbed:

• September 9, 2026. The assessment gained an optional button to have your result emailed to you. Until that day this page said the assessment kept no record of anything and that the site had no form on it. Both statements had stopped being true, so the assessment section was rewritten the same day to describe what the button does, and this page gained the four sections above on retention, location, and security.
